Stacked Condos

Are you in the market to purchase a condo in Yorkville or Madison? Do you know all the different types of condos on the market that you can choose from? If not, you have come to the right place, as we're going to educate you on the world of condos.

One type of condo that isn't familiar to many prospective condo owners looking at Madison or Vaughan condos for sale is the stacked condo. If you don't know what stacked condos are then let us tell you. Stacked condos are condos that are typically located in mid-rise to high-rise condo buildings and share at least two walls. For instance, the ceiling in a second floor condo unit in a stacked condo building would be the flooring for a third floor condo unit in a stacked condo building.

In some cases stacked condo buildings not only have condos on top of each other but also next to each other, which would mean that the sidewalls would also be shared. Stacked condos almost resemble the look and feel of apartments. Just like condos, stacked condo owners share common areas such as the gym, swimming pool, outdoor rooftop BBQ patio and insurance. Living in a stacked condo also means that, just like in normal condo buildings, any changes you want to make to the exterior of your stacked condo must first be approved by the condo board of your stacked Madison or downtown Toronto condos.

Stacked condos are ideal for those interested in living in a condo but not in a low-rise condo and who want to live in a real estate property with a strong sense of community. Most stacked condo owners get know each other quite well during the course of their years living in their stacked condo building. That makes sharing the building's amenities easy and leads to no potentially stressful situations or neighbor feuds.

Now that you are aware of what stacked Madison or King West condos are you might be more inclined to live in a stacked condo community rather than purchase any other type of condo. In the end, the decision is yours and yours alone. You don't want to take shopping for Madison or London real estate lightly so make sure you do everything in your power to go over all the information at your dispersal to make the best decision possible!
